LOCK.

Lock, the first series of Kolektt, is based on the idea of joining one single form to another. In principle, two L-shaped pieces in different sizes create balance by interlock. The linear form, which is striking at first glance, and its holistic stance consisting of one single solid material, give Lock a sculptural attitude.

Launched with two different materials, wood and metal, the collection is also inspired by the material itself and the manufacturing process. The one, built totally in solid oak characterized by grain pattern and contrast dying. It’s a harmony between minimal form and intense texture.

The metal one which is made of joining two bent 3mm hand-polished iron sheets is pretty thin and clear. An elegant piece with reflective surfaces and fine lines, adds a sophisticated touch to its environment.
